It will be a busy week. The addition should be pretty much done if the electrician comes on Tuesday. He may not because of deer hunting.

The hot tub guys came and unwrapped the hot tub and discovered it was placed wrong so they turned it and now there is floorboard exposed where there should be tile. We held off hooking up the hot tub until the floor is fixed. After they left I realized the inside color is not the color we ordered. I called them but they insisted it is the right color. Doesn't matter, because it is the right model number and I think I like the mistaken color better anyway. It does bother me they would not admit their mistake. Pete came home and said it was not the color we ordered so at least I am not going crazy.

Earlier this week Pete said he was going to cut a pipe while trying to fix the toilet but first he had to stop at Home Depot after work. As soon as I heard him say he was going to cut something, I called the plumber who came out and fixed it in 20 minutes.

THe deck has to be totally redone and will cost more to do it but at least it will be done right.

The other thing is the car is making a burnt popcorn smell and we cannot figure out where it is coming from. Believe it or not, between looking online and talking to people, there is a possibllity there are mice storing food in the car engine or exhaust somewhere. . We know there are mice in the garage but were going to wait until the addition is done.

THe good news is the Packers beat the Vikings, Pete installed two recessed lights in the hallway and we found turkey legs for my brother in law. I will have to ask mom how to make those.

I am looking forward to having everyone for Thanksgiving. I serve the meal early so then I can rest the rest of the day.

I am giving us a 20% chance of having a hot tub working this week. Pete sat in it yestereday and he looks good in it but of course, there is no water yet.

Both kids had check ups and they both went well. Bree may need glasses.

I think today is going to be the last nice day, it looks like cold weather starting tomorrow.

The contractor and his assistant are working on the floor in the addition today.

I may go shopping with mom tomorrow.

We had a nice weekend. Pete's family came up to visit on Saturday and on Sunday we went to visit mom while Bree went trick or treating with her friends. She went as an angel. Mom made chili. Pete was in heaven, the Packers won and he got to eat her chili.

Today the contractor worked on painting the trim. We are not sure when the room is going to be done. I keep thinking one more week but then it passes.

Pete has classes in Appleton all week.
