Who is Terry Polk?

This is the conversation I had with my daughter today while we were sitting at the table having lunch with Luke.

B: "Boy, Terry Polk is really pretty."

Me: "Terry Polk is really pretty?"

B: "Who is Terry Polk?"

Me: "Isn't that what you just said?"

B;"No, I said, this cherry coke is reslly fizzy."

This is what happens when I do not wear my hearing aids. We all laughed and got a good chuckle out of that one.

Have a good one!

Yay, Lori! [dancing and singing, Lori's back! Lori's back!]

Been by every day ... I knew you were busy, but I was missing you.

My Gram and my brother were deaf on opposite ears, and they always sat on the wrong side of each other. Their conversations were often hysterically funny ... or horribly frustrating. How you felt depended on whether you were listening, or participating.

glad that you guys had a good chuckle...

thank you for living a full, joyful life with the obstacles that exist but still a great example..your words like your actions are a good thing to imitate.

i'm sorry about your eyes. when i had surgery about 2 yrs ago and i had bandages for 1 wk and couldn't see, i lived a different life. even when they came off, waiting to things to clear up, the fogginess and cloudiness and blurriness was extremely difficult. i had just a minor glimpse of what you may feel. i can understand how hard it might be. i wish...i wish i could stop it for you but we both know how that goes. why God choosed you for this particular cross i'm not sure but i betcha it has to do with how you handle things. perseverance, stregnth, courage is what you Lori are made off. what wonderful genes to pass on to your kids.

i love you. i thank the goodness in your heart and all the love it holds.

thank you so much for helping your inlaws....i have grown to loved them so much too. that was mighty kind and nice of you. exactly an example of what you are.

hugs.
