Crazy People

Yesterday while we were out driving when the temperature was 96, I saw at least four people out running....WHAT? They did not even have water bottles. I cannot go walking if it is about 85 so I think these people are crazy.

Tomorrow I am going to help my in-laws pack. It is not often I can do something for them, so I am more than happy to do it. Later in the week, hubby and kids will join me and we will stay in a hotel which we were thinking of doing anyway so it worked out well.

Today it was 102 here in Green Bay according to our car thermometer. Tomorrow it is supposed to be even warmer.

I think I will go out for a run....

Have a good one!

Don't you dare!
I know you wouldn't. My daughter went for a walk while they were changing the oil in her car.She found that was not a smart idea.

Yep I know how it feels, we had 110 here yesterday and I walked out from grocery shopping into the parking lot and actually felt sick to my stomach. It's horrible, I just don't like that much heat LOL

I'll join you for that run, and please don't even think about bringing a water bottle, that's for wussies right? LOL

Last NIGHT at 10 p.m. it was still 109* here. At the peak of the heat yesterday the thermometer on the neighbor's back porch read 117*. My Sidewalk Sunday School students, volunteers, a few crazy parents, and I were all outside exercisizing like fools -- of course, we were having water fights so we really didn't notice the heat.

LOL! I saw this lady on the bus (it was in the high 90's) in a turtle neck, sweater and a jacket on over that. No kidding. My sister said that she was clearly crazy. She wasn't even sweating. What's up with that?

Oh, and watch out for pets, too. I put water out on my porch for little homeless cats too.

Good grief! On the other hand, try running here! It is so hot and humid, you feel like you have a ton on top of you. At least Houston has not had any power outages, yet. They just keep raising the prices!
