"Who has the biggest brain?"

This morning as I was sitting at the kitchen table half asleep waiting for my daughter and her sleep over friends to wake up, my five year old son asked, "Hey, Mom, let's play 'Who has the biggest brain!'"

"Hun, how do you play?"(Normally I would not ask if it involved a lot of movement but it seemed harmless....)

"Well, if you have the biggest brain, you point to it and you win!"

I am pretty sure I do not have the biggest brain so I do not point so I guess I lost.

*******

This was only a part of my morning, add about 100 other conversations equally as strange and you'll get the idea. I am starting to think I know why people drink...

At least it is Friday...goody, goody, gum drop....

******
Have a good one!

I have equally strange converstations with my oldest son. He loves to talk, I just tried to watch Titanic on HBO with him and it was question after question after question....I understand too why parents drink.

I once saw on Dr. Phil about a mother who was a closet alcoholic and how she was always drinking at school functions she just kept it in a McDonalds cup....I now see where that is possible

How can you prove if someone is bluffing about having the biggest brain? ;)

You do wonder where he was coning from. How was the sleep over? Did any one sleep?

LOL! I liked what you said about the drinking and about the game taking a lot of movement. heehee.

Well, at least you woke up before the hyped sleep over guests. Them not waking you up has to count for something.

Hi Lori

I posted a response to your comment on my blog over there, but thought I would repeat the info over here.

Why dont you consider doing ACEO's? (Art Cards, Editions & Originals). There are no rules, but they tend to be about 2.5x3.5 Go on ebay and do a search for them and you will find lots. Also check www.wetcanvas.com and do a search. They are small enough that you might be able to fit them in with your busy family schedule.

Lori, about your comment on my blog about writing and agents. I haven't really done much as far as submitting, agents, etc since I don't even have a finished work yet, And I don't know if you're into podcasts or anything, but if you go to itunes you can download a really nice podcast called I Should Be Writing. She's a struggling writer but gives good tips and stuff about writing.

If you think you feel like drinking now...just wait till they hit their teens!!!! lol.

There is nothing more surreal than a child's conversation! Even when you think you know what they're talking about you probably don't ...

And I agree with Catch -- wait until they're teens.

LOL the kids come up with the weirdest games don't they??? My seven year old daughter does the same thing, she asks me to play a game that she invented and then gets really frustrated because I'm just NOT playing it right. Go figure LOL

Hope you have a great day.
