The Weekend

You know, you just cannot beat a good weekend. Sometimes we wait for Monday to start so the routine gets back to normal. Other times we have so much to do, the weekend goes by way too fast. But this weekend, was just about perfect.

The kids were off Thursday and Friday, Hubby took off Friday. We had family game night, played tennis, got pumpkins, went to church, watch the Packers win, took the kids to a Halloween Party at out church (see below, the girls, daughter and friend, went as rock stars and the son went as a knight performer....a combination of Darth Vader, a firefighter and a knight). and finally, carved the pumpkins.

The kids wore rubber gloves while performing surgery on their patients, to rid them of all the "ucky, yucky, icky guts". We all pretended we were surgeons operating on our patients.

Finally, the jack-o-lanterns were lit (spent more time looking for candles to put in the dang things) we took pictures and even a video where my son sang the latest pumpkin song he learned at school.

Let's not forget the extra hour of sleep we got.

Cannot get much better than this weekend.
