David vs Goliath
Above is the picture I was supposed to post yesterday. Hubby did it for me!
I had a couple of serious subjects I was going to blog about today but decided against it because I am a little too emotional about it right now. This brings me to a very siily discussion about my little toe (David) against the rest of my body (Goliath).
It all started innocently enough a week ago when I went on my walk( four miles) and I had not cut my toenails so one was digging in to the side of my other toe. But, this was on my other foot. As soon as I got home, I trimmed all my toenails, not a favorite job of mine as my regular readers know.
Then, yesterday my walk friend called to see if I wanted to go on our usual route so I said "Yes, as soon at hubby and daughter get home from the Packer game" which had a dreadful ending to a game we should have won.
About halfway through the walk little toe on my other foot was slicing into toe next to it. I tried to wiggle my toes to see if I could get it to stop piercing my toe but it was almost like a jagged saw that did more damage the more I moved it. I finally get home and take off my sock and the toe is all cut up and bruised while my little toe is perfectly fine and, I think, smiling !
A couple hours later I get into the tub for a hot bath and my cut up toe screams in pain while the little toe seems to be takinga relaxing soak. This morning I get up and actually hobble down the stairs. "That is it!" I said out loud, stomp into the bathroom and put a bandaid over the little toe (after clipping the sharp edge I must have left the last time I clipped it) and 'Voila'...no more pain, no more sassy little toe. I was going to bandage the cut up toe, but why punish it when it has done nothing so covering up the naughty toe will work just as well at protecting bullied toe.
Time to pay the bills...bye for now...oh for all those who are wondering, hubby decided to wait a bit before buying a computer because he thinks the one he was going to buy will be obsolete soon.....whew...otherwise the only thing under the Christmas tree this year would have been the needles that fell off the tree!.

I have gone through that type of pain. I found some toe separators that help also clipping toe nails but that is getting harder now.
Here from Dr John's marathon I think.
Poor baby toe... Houston Rockets Basketball star has problems with one of his big toes causing him to miss practice and games. Not fun!
