Lori's Minute

Halloween is over, I hope to post pictures of the kids in their costumes soon. They also carved pumpkins. Bree's had a cross on it which was cool when it was lit at night. Luke's was scary with four mouths, two noses and one eye. It also had two forks sticking out of it...the trick or treaters were puzzled by it. We tried to go to Neenah to show the grandparents but they were out. We showed them a week later. We did make it to my mother's.

This week I am going to finish our master bedroom if it is the last thing I do. I pretty much have the bed done, the curtains up, the chair slipcovered, the walls are painted. I am currently working on four pictures to hang on the wall. Since Pete likes chess, I like horses so two pictures are of the horse head chess piece. They turned out ok, but not great. The other two pictures will be of the king and queen piece representing Pete and I. I am working on those tonight and tomorrow. Once they are up, all I have to do is vacuum and put a few things away.I will post pictures of our bedroom when it is done.

We made it to church this morning, raked some more leaves (the leaf catcher on the back of the riding lawn mower works great for those who are looking for a way out of raking) and then we watched the Packers lose to the worse team in football. How can we beat Brett in the playoffs if we don't make it to the playoffs???
